Luscious Moon

This piece was one in a series of moonrise paintings, inspired by a reluctant red moon rising as it finally showed up on that cloudy night. The waves draw towards land pulled by the polarity of our oceans. It is a complex relationship that all creatures depend on for our very existence, the repeating cycle of land/water/sky.
