Comments from Artist: Several years ago we bicycled in Vietnam through the Mekong Delta towards Cambodia. Life on the river was all around us, as were the hardworking people of the villages . I took many photos, one of which inspired this painting which was given as a gift to a close friend on her 60th birthday. It hangs proudly in her house on the water.
